From Vision to Concrete
Parkfield skatepark known as Parky opened in October 2011 made from super smooth concrete. Designed and created by Maverick Skateparks.
Featuring both transitions and a street section suiting all styles of riding.
The rear end of the skatepark has a large deep oval shaped bowl with an open front, leading to a two way split which goes into two duplicate pump humps. One side with Hubbas, rails, gaps, a pizza looking ledge and quarters. The other side has a box, hips, flat banks and more ledges.
Then we have at the top of the skatepark park a flat street section with duplicate flat banks either side a ledge, an up rail and a cornered stair set consisting of ledges.
It is a great local park with an endless creative layout which has something for all types of riders and abilities.
All Riders Welcome
Parkfield skatepark has a variety of riders, ranging from the new younger generation to older generation.
We have scooter riders, skateboarders and bmx riders, who all thoroughly enjoy the skatepark. A perfect spot for wheel sport enthusiasts.
Thanks to local rider Ethan Frost for his help with all things skate. Without Ethan and the Parky skate crew we would never know how we can best support the park and everyone who uses it.
