Current Opportunities:

We're currently looking for a volunteer Finance Director to join our team.

 

If you’ve got a strong background in finance or accounting and would like to use your skills to help People’s Parkfield make even more of a difference, we’d love to hear from you. Experience of the community business world would be an advantage, but is not essential.  Typically, the role requires 10–15 hours per month, including attendance at weekly Steering Group meetings and occasional face to face meetings at Parkfield.

 

You'll be helping to keep us financially secure, so we can keep doing what we do best: supporting young people and the wider community across Paignton and beyond.

We're currently looking for a volunteer, part-time Operations Director to join our team.

 

The position involves overseeing the operational aspects of People’s Parkfield CIC. Working closely with the Centre Manager to ensure that projects and initiatives run smoothly, resources are allocated effectively, and the overall vision of the organisation is upheld.

 

If you’ve got a strong background in operational management and would like to use your skills to help People’s Parkfield make even more of a difference, we’d love to hear from you. Experience of the community business world would be an advantage, but is not essential.  Typically, the role requires 10–15 hours per month, including attendance at weekly Steering Group meetings and occasional face to face meetings at Parkfield.

 

You'll be helping us to ensure the whole Parkfield estate runs efficiently and smoothly, so we can keep doing what we do best: supporting young people and the wider community across Paignton and beyond.

We're currently looking for a volunteer, part-time Director of Buildings and Site Services to join our team.

 

The position involves overseeing strategic planning, maintenance, safety and compliance. Working closely with the Centre Manager to ensure that our amazing Grade 2 listed Victorian Villa, stable block, garden house and walled garden continue to provide venues and facilities for the users of Parkfield.

 

If you have a background in building or site management and would like to use your skills to help People’s Parkfield make even more of a difference, we’d love to hear from you. Experience of the community business world would be an advantage, but is not essential.  Typically, the role requires 10–15 hours per month, including attendance at weekly Steering Group meetings and occasional face to face meetings at Parkfield.

 

You'll be helping us to ensure our site and buildings are in prime condition so we can keep doing what we do best: supporting young people and the wider community across Paignton and beyond.

Experience of the community business world would be an advantage, but is not essential. 

 

Typically, the role requires 10–15 hours per month, including attendance at weekly Steering Group meetings and occasional face to face meetings at Parkfield.

 

You'll be helping us to develop sustainable income streams and a recognised brand, so we can keep doing what we do best: supporting young people and the wider community across Paignton and beyond.
